We say design, we think beautiful. But design is way bigger than shiny objects and beautiful screens. It’s about understanding your users’ situation and empowering them to make it better through the clever use of technology, symbols and narratives.

The aesthetic value of design is only one of the products of a holistic approach that provides answers to the key questions every product and service should answer: what situation are we addressing? What capabilities are we proposing to empower people? What scenarios are we enabling? How does this product or service contribute to our bottom line?

If you struggle with these questions, you need a designer. If you only want shiny screens, you just need a template.
